Wheres the sense of humour in Homophobia

so.....I I suppose it might be a little out of the ordinary..and maybe to much of an ask of the Saturday market shoppers. But I really have to ask myself seriously where is the pay off on this one

Take a few enthusiastic voluynteer dragqueens...who wanted to rattle the buckets for the NZAids Foundation...at the local Saturday maeket.....a yearly ceommerative event to alert Joe Public....of World Aids Day....
Noe one would think that maybe the powers that be saw that this was not the most comfortable moment to bring the world of sex religion and politics together.....but it would be verym n ear sighted to allude that the AIDS Phenomenon as has been experienced in the last twenty years has not touched the personal lives of any citizen of theis the country of the....
Now of course take the statement of a fire truck as a staging platform children to who the focus of Worlds Aids Day was intended.....The Drag Queens in glorious colour with their own families

Now..the kicker is.. in a market that has the freedom of a religous fanatic can preach the passer by..the anti abortion lobby display graphic displays, and literature and chinese nationals show how organ gathering , demonstrating the crime in graphic detail amidst a collection of carpetbaggers with bargains and items you never intend to buy...but impluse is always an interesting ignition.

Impulse I believe was the reason this worthy project was 'kaiboshed'
Where two rivalling factions who are deep within politics of their own regarding, how many stages and how many stalls were allowed with a precinct.....hadnt actually grabbed the big picture
Now I will happily be arrested on points of homophobia ,and in full scale costume, with as many political angles why it should have gone ahead.....but I was damned if I was going to be
dragged to the city lockup for the purposes of tresspass......and not bring much positive reaction to what should have been a colourful and family generated event.......
To be scorned as not suitable for families.....
Now what did they expect. That I would take my cock out and wave it at passers by.
Surely the Drag Queen in context can be seen as she is.
The pantomime andThe Burlesque.
What ever behaviour was expected. It isnt..wasnt good enough.
More to come one thinks......so isnt the market having a Santa parade....
Now there's an apologetic thought.....
anybody listening
