Whats....In a word...almost everything

I was always of the firm belief that to be called a Diva you had in someway to earn it.
Mind you when the likes of Mariah and her pop sisters started flouting the name it seemed to loose all sense
To me a diva...was not only astounding...but also tempermental in the extreme in order to pull off iconic performances..when of late such activity seems to be reserved for waving ones hands at the top twenties....mind you Kylie Minogue as light as her material might be, would have to have such a title...given the fact that the media has taken her to breast cancer and back.....
So what is a diva......
and how do you earn the title

suffer for your art
illuminate your art
and when the time comes deliver as nobody has ever before...
so that you are beyond the comparison of all

oh and others

being original
iconic
and oh yes........ready to take the rough with the smooth and ride it out
So girls...you need to work it out.....
